A Teenage Boy Killed after Myanmar Army Shelling into the Town in Rakhine State

Myanmar soldiers fireed guns and artilleries into Pikethay Yat ward in Kyauktaw Town yesterday evening and killed a teenage boy and wounded eleven civilians including six Rohingya Muslim. 

Lawmaker U Htun Won said, “The shell was landed in the house and entire family of four injured. One of the family members was very critical.”

Nato Tun, 14, was hit on his rear head and died at the hospital shortly after he admitted.

Wounded family members are father of the late boy U HLa Kyaw Tun, 60, whose head is injured, his wife Daw Ma Tin Ye, 50, is sharpened on her back and chest, and his daughter Tun Pa May ,12, whose left side of forehead is damaged. 

His younger brother and construction worker U Maung Gree are also wounded by the gunshots. 

Myanmar soldiers stationing at the eastern side of Gisspanadi Bridge randomly fired the guns and shells across the bridge and into the town at 4 PM yesterday 

Six Rohhingya were also injured by the shells and bullets, but our news agency has not yet got their names and details of the wound.  Further investigation is going on. 

Similarly, soldiers from the infantry 550 shot and injured 24 years old young man namely Maung Chit Suu in Ponnaygun on April 14. He is treated at the town's hospital. 

A source close to the last night shooting told Arakan News that there were a couple mimes exploded near the bridge and injured some soldiers . After the explosions, the soldiers indiscriminately fired their guns into the town.
